I spent large portions of this weekend fighting off a headache - possibly barometric pressure, possibly allergies, possibly "Boo you cannot sleep til noon you will get a caffeine headache". Sunday was occupied with laundry and television (all of my clothes, as noted on twitter, are folded: this is weird, as it never happens.)
I also stopped by target and got a TV tray to serve me as a sidetable, since not having a sidetable has made my life unnecessarily stupid recently. (I continue to contemplate loft beds, platform beds, storage beds, and daybeds. And the green rum-filled marzipan cookies from Ikea. The loft bed problem is that it is nigh on impossible to find one for twin sized mattresses that is also not obviously made for kids' rooms and that is also not part of bunks. Or ugly.)
Realistically: I should hit up local furniture stores for layaway options because the other hting I did with my weekend was to go through almost the entire small cool spaces 2013 contest on apartment therapy ... and I'd like to enter my apartment into the 2014 round, because NYC was disproportionately represented and they clearly need more Chicago.
State of the car: Needs additional work, and its 100,000 mile checkup. The problem was the battery, which was dead and has been replaced and I still want the Silencer removed because it is a PITA.
