SO: We currently have all of the rain, and all of the thunder/lightening, and my car is currently broken down* in Evanston rather than safely on my street. I have a week before street cleaning = tickets, and I am just, "my STUPID FATHER is at fault here 100%".

*Basically there's a kill switch on my ignition that requires a separate plastic-and-gold keying device for the car to start. This mechanism is broken. So the kill switch means my car won't start. It's been finicky since I got the damned thing in 2005, but it's not out and out refused to locomote in that time. Dad bought the car, and did not have the dealership remove the device, and I am like, I DO NOT NEED THIS THING. (I think it might have to do with dampness? Like, it started fine this morning and at lunch, but then we reached like Critical Saturation and suddenly it is NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE.

I can sorta afford to get it fixed (I can't afford to NOT get it fixed), and I will first attempt to exchange money for manual labor with my coworker who used to be a mechanic. Then I will try the shop next door. (Unfortunately it also means that I will be without a bedframe AGAIN this month, and omg FUCK YOU STUDENT LOANS. I just.

I would like to go to ikea and buy a bed and visit this sofa and this sofa to see if they are the sofa for me. The second one I would dip dye the sofa cover into a OOAK teal ombre.), but I ALSO want to time it so that I can make it an Ikea run for work.

As my twitter indicates, I've been watching ALL the Scarecrow & Mrs King, and it remains everything I ever wanted in a spy show. AND I'm told there's adequate kissing in season 3-4! \o/

Dinner tonight was baby carrots, hummus, and homebrew soda: juice mixed with club soda. Lunch was an entire ball of fresh mozzarella cheese and several "marinated" things from the Dominick's salad bar, plus an apple and half a pint of (wtf how are these a dollar?) blueberries.

Also I'm 17,000 words in and 98% finished with the Clint Turns Into A Dinosaur (Google T. Rex Tryin' Archery for my inspiration) story. It's solidly gen, and I loves it lots - it's been really fun to write.
