I am probably the last person to figure this out, but migas become much less labor entensive when you use crushed tortilla chips folded into the eggs than when you fry up fresh corn tortillas yourself.
(I ate a LOT of Migas in college because a stack of 50 or 100 corn tortillas is relatively cheap, as are medium sized eggs, plus jarred salsa lasts practically forever.)
