A Thing occurred to me

I really hope that Star Trek: Into Darkness pulls me back into trek fandom, because I really, really miss feeling welcome and valued in the fandoms that I’m in.

Like … I feel like I didn’t jump into Avengers fandom in the same way, like I didn’t produce enough early on, and like  because my feelings on characterization are a long way off of fanon,  that I just … never fit.  (I mean, don’t get me wrong; I wrote a combined 150,000 words across Thor and Avengers, but it was almost all in 3 novel(las) that I still haven’t finished, didn’t post, and, well.  Star Trek hits me, or hit me, in the 2,000-5,000 word place instead of in the 50-,000-90,000 word place.)
