I didn't read nearly as many yuletide stories as I'd intended this year, but I did read a bunch and here are some of my favorites.

Why?: Character voices! Outsider POV! Fantastic use of epistolary format! the kids all grown up and doin' stuff and how they've absorbed bits and pieces of each other along the way but are still absolutely themselves. This little fandom amazes me every time I read it, and this story is no exception.
